</div>Yes and no. It's the beginning of being able to write an A10 bootable<br>
sdcard with open software.<br>

The ultimate goal of this is to enable the use of U-Boot on A10 using<br>
only free software. This consists of a number of parts<br>
<br>
a) Some software that can make take a some initial bootloader code and<br>
add a valid A10 boot signature to it (header + checksum) making it<br>
accepted as bootable by A10. This is the job of the softare Tom just<br>
announced.<br>

b) Initial bootloader (<24KB, i.e. U-Boot SPL) responsible for<br>
configuring DRAM and other critical system parameters, enabling a full<br>
