next is to learn to trim the mail you are replying, specially the 
mailing list footer :) read about Interleaved and bottom posting at 
wikipedia [1].

also, you didn't need to setup an NNTP client (even if it's the perfect 
interface for discussions!), hitting the "followup" action in the web 
interface [2] lets you reply the selected mail from your web browser too.
